The Aloha+ Challenge Dashboard tracks Hawaiʻi’s progress on achieving the 2030 goals for transparacy and accountability. The targets and indicators on the Dashboard were selected based on community priorities and what is appropriate to measure. The dashboard lives on the Hawaiʻi State Government’s website and is an open data platform designed to inform policy and inspire action.
Hawaiʻi Green Growth is a public-private partnership that brings together diverse stakeholders across Hawaiʻi from local and state government, private sector and civil society. As a statewide cross-sector network, HGG members jointly set priorities for collaborative action to advance green growth priorities and the Aloha+ Challenge.
In 2015, the United Nations set 17 Sustainable Development Goals for the world to reach by 2030. In recognition of Hawaiʻi’s early leadership and local framework for delivering on global goals, Hawaiʻi Green Growth became one of the world’s first Local2030 sustainability hubs – and the first Island and Pacific hub- to scale Hawaiʻi’s sustainability model globally.
